Founded in 1917, SOURIAU was formed by the successive acquisitions of the industrial, aerospace, defense and space markets of Souriau, JUPITER and BURNDY. The end users of Surio's products are the aerospace, defense, rail and industrial markets.

The Group's products are designed and manufactured in the United States, Europe, Japan and India and sold by the World Sales and Marketing Organization. Soulio has 1,300 employees worldwide.

Surio has its own independent testing centre, which is accredited by a number of state laboratories. In this laboratory, the project can be identified and certified according to the U.S. Army standard MIL, CECC standard, GSFC standard, VDE standard, SCC standard, EN standard, CSA standard and UL standard.

The tests that the laboratory can perform according to the above standards are electrical performance, environmental performance and mechanical performance tests.
